Bagmasters Improves CX with Headless Artifi Implementation


Situation

Bagmasters, a leading manufacturer of promotional products since the 1980s, supplies custom tote bags and custom printed promotional products to multiple Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits and trade associations. With over 5,000 promotional products available for online ordering, the company’s goal is to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Challenge

In an effort to further their customer experience goal, Bagmasters desired to provide their clients with a virtual proof of product customizations. Wanting to retain the existing ecommerce platform, Netsuite SuiteCommerce Advanced, and make only minor changes to the product display page (PDP), the solution would need to be integrated. However, no viable product customization extensions were offered by the certified SuiteCommerce Advanced partner network.

The desired result would be a virtual proof of a customized product throughout the entire checkout process. Furthermore, administrators would need to be able to manage all product customization data within the solution and view the customized products when reviewing orders in the ecommerce administration console.

Solution

Bagmasters selected Artifi Labs to provide virtual proofs of customized products throughout the checkout process via a headless implementation. The nature of the headless implementation circumvented the reliance of a partner network provided extension. It also provides ecommerce administrators with the ability to view customized products in the ecommerce order management system.

An additional efficiency included the ability to self-administer the onboarding of products into Artifi for customization. Also included was the capability to offer multiple deco-methods including embroidery rendering for the over 120 products already available for customization.
